The participants paddle on every beat of a drummer who sits in front of the boat. Dragon Boat racing is one of the biggest events on water in the eastern world. Teams from all over the world come and compete on neutral waters and enjoy the fruits of teamwork. The event which was first introduced in China to celebrate the good harvest, is now a very competitive sport in the Western world as well.
