It is the best method to transport cement as bulkers are air tight so it prevent the cement to get expose to the environment.   During unload, no compressed air is produced, so the pressure drops. During load, compressed air is produced and the pressure rises.So, the compressor regulates the pressure in a pressure band by starting and stopping between the lower loading setpoint and the higher unload setpoint.
