General Features: • Gear Case is made out of high quality cast iron and accurately machined. • Gearing is of balanced design for smooth running and longer life. Certain important modifications, based on our field experience are incorporated while designing the gears. • Worm shaft is made out of selected alloy steel for increased strength and life. Precision-machined involute thread form used make the gearing more efficient and silent running. • Worm wheels for smaller sizes are of single piece construction and made out of chilled cast high-grade phosphor bronze. Larger size wheels are made out of centrifugally cast high grade phosphor bronze rims shrink fitted on CI Centre and positively secured by special pegs. • Output shafts are adequately designed and made out of graded steel and supported on generously selected dual purpose bearings to sustain heavy duty applications. • Splash type lubrication is adopted covering all internal components. • Motors where used are of reputed makes and of oil tight nature.Unless specified, 3phase flange type motors are used.
