This water distillation unit is designed to give pyrogen free distilled water. This is needed practically in every laboratory, hospitals, research institution, industries, colleges, pathological lab and other many more labs where the distilled water is needed.Construction :The complete body is fabricated out of S.S. 304 grade material. A baffle is provided to avoid splashing of row water particles into condenser pipe. A cock is provided at water inlet to control the water flow inside the unit. The constant level attachment maintains water level inside boiling chamber and excessive water is thrown away. A lid is automatically sealed by water forming in a recess provided at the top of the boiling chamber. The flange of the lid rests in this ring. The cold water which enters in the coolant pipe condenses the steam into distilled water and preheated water gets into the boiling chamber. This reduces the electric consumption. The condenser pipe is easily removable for cleaning in condenser opening type.Heaters :The water still is fitted with self ejection type heating element which disconnects electric supply connector if still runs without water. Even though care should be taken not to run the still without sufficient water flow as the protective arrangement cannot be expected to work for several operations. The heating elements are easilt replaceable.The stated output of the still is approximate as it depends on supply voltage fluctuations.

The Shital friability test apparatus is designed to study the friability determination of pharmaceutical tablets.A central shaft carries a holding screw, on which the acrylic drum is mounted. SHITAL HOT AIR OVENS : Shital make ovens are designed ,fabricated and tested to suit various applications in ever growing field of medical , agricultural , industrial research for day to day heating , drying , sterilizing , baking etc. In laboratories , hospitals and industries. This apparatus is used for the determination of single or mixed melting points of most organic substances in powder form. These substances , which are opaque at ambient temperature become transparent on melting. The melting point is noted on a mercury-in glass thermometer just when the substance under test starts melting.The apparatus consists of an aluminum block in which three small holes for inserting thin glass capillaries , and one larger hole to accommodate a mercury in- glass thermometer are provided. The aluminum block is heated from two sides by clamped-on nichrome wire strip heaters which are electrically insulated. The block assembly is housed in an aluminum casting housing which is finished in elegant paint.  The thin glass capillaries which are inserted into the three holes in the aluminum block are illuminated by an incandescent lamp and are seen magnified by the use of a built-in double convex lens. This eliminates the strain of viewing the thin glass capillaries in which the powders under test is / are placed.The rate of rise of temperature of the aluminum block is controlled by a rotary rheostat built into the apparatus. The glass capillaries are in thermal contact with the aluminum block and therefore heat transfer is efficient. When the substance starts melting, the temperature as indicated by the inserted thermometer is noted , which is the melting point temperature of the particular substance.  A boost heater to heat the block rapidly is also provided. Put of booster heater when temperature will reach 25ºc to 30ºc below the required temperature (i.e. Rough melting point of the substance) . Slow heating will help to give accurate melting point. As an optional accessory , a cooling plug to bring down the temperature can be supplied, which is to be inserted in the hole where thermometer bulb was kept . Cooling takes place by circulation of water in the cooling plug which has an inlet outlet.
