Usually SVC reactors were imported from Austria for all these years. Now we have manufactured the largest SVC reactor in the country for 60 MVAR SVC system of ABB make. It has been successfully installed and commissioned at a SAIL steel plant since 2 years.

Neutral Grounding Reactors (NGRs) are used to control single line to ground faults only. NGR are particularly used at transmission voltage levels, when autotransformers with a delta tertiary are employed. Neutral Grounding Reactors (NGRs), normally installed between the transformer or generator neutral and ground, are effective in controlling single line to ground faults since, in general, the system short circuit impedance is largely reactive. NGRs reduce short circuit stresses on station transformers the most prevalent type of fault in an electrical system. We have supplied 145KV neutral grounding reactors for 6 X 660MW at Lalitpur Thermal Power Projects through BIDCO & L&T for 220 KV, 765 KV switchyard installation. We have recently installed 145 KV Dry Type neutral grounding reactors at a power grid substation

Filter reactors are used along with capacitor banks to form the tuned harmonic filter circuit for a particular harmonic. If different harmonic currents are to be eliminated from the system, number of filter circuits tuned to each harmonic frequency need be installed. Installing filter circuits is necessary where the harmonic exceed the permissible level, otherwise the excessive harmonic currents can cause higher losses resulting in higher temperature and dielectric stresses. We are able to offer Harmonic Filter reactors in oil cooled as well as air cooled version depending upon the customer's requirement.

The Capacitor In-rush Limiting reactors are used in series with capacitor bank to control the in-rush current and to suppress the harmonics. Normally reactors with 0.2% rating are used for in-rush current limiting on neutral side and 6% for line side. Specific ratings between 0.8% to 13% are used for harmonic suppression.
