These seals have a simple, compact design and are easy to install with practically no maintenance.The GCC 201 Series are unbalanced type seals. The rotary unit utilises a standard seal face with a single spring and secondary seal ring. This single spring is stronger and sturdier then multi-spring construction.Secondary Seal Rings are available in various forms such as 'O' Rings, 'V' Rings, Square Rings, Wedge and in various elastomers such as viton, neoprene, silicon, Bunna-N, EPT, Teflon, GFT, Grafoil, etc. The mating faces can be of high grade carbon, stellite, tungsten carbide, ceramic, etc. depending on the service conditions.
