Nexavar by Bayer is a medicine approved for the treatment of primary kidney cancer (advanced renal cell carcinoma) and advanced primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). Its generic name is Sorafenib. It has both US FDA & European Commision approval for use in the treatment of advanced renal cancer & liver cancer.
