After opening the container, stir the contents well with a clean wooden plank so that the bottom paste is completely mixed with the liquid. Ensure that the surface to be coated is free from grease or oil. Swab the surface to be coated by taking small quantity of paste on a piece of cloth. Remove the coating completely. Bake the coated components at 100C for 2 hours and the charge them into the gas carburizing furnace. After heat treatment, the coating gets removed during shot blasting or machining.
