It reduces power consumption up to 30% . The external surface temperature of the insulated ceramic band heater is approx 80°c while running inside surface temperature is 300 °c . First is the heaters built in insulation & second is the cerawool insulation the heat transfer in the ceramic heater is by convection and radiation. The heat dissipation from the heaters will be prevented by it’s insulation on the outer surface. This process of heat exchange will make a uniform layer of heat all over the barrel resulting into swift development of temperature. We are offering sealted nozzle band heater description: comheaters has designed sealed mica nozzle band heater to prevent the failure of nozzle heaters against the leakage & contamination of plastic material at nozzle position. These heaters meet the required temperature prior to molding at nozzle position. These heaters are hermetically sealed during the manufacturing process. The connection between the heating element & the leads is protected by a special terminal cap made of brass 1mm thick. The terminal cap is brazed which allows a high mechanical strength in the most delicate area of the heater i.e. The termination. The heating of nozzle in injection machines is still a big problem owing to subsequent stops of the production process and cost incident. We have seen a large series of cases causing an early failure most of them are due to plastic leakage impregnating the heater and causing heater failure. These problems are solved by using our sealed mica nozzle band heaters. There can be custom built entry points for termination considering customers requirement, alternative tubular nozzle heaters are available.
