Steel Test Plugs and Stoppers are available in sizes 2 to 48″ (50 to 1200 mm) and are manufactured with outlets according to their diameters.Outlets on the Plugs (for gas or liquid connection) : Plug Diameters up to 150 mm (6″) 12 mm diameter outlet (0.5″ BSP) Plug Diameters 200 to 450 mm (8″ to 18″) 25 mm diameter outlet (1.0″ BSP) Plug Diameter 500 mm (20″) and upwards 50 mm diameter outlet (2.0″ BSP) The standard seals are made from natural rubber although specific synthetic seals are available for applications where greater chemical resistance and/or higher temperature operation is required. The natural rubber rings can be used up to 80 in continuous use. For higher temperatures, we supply rings made from silicone that can be used up to 300 and viton, which can be used up to 350 Synthetic seal options are Silicone, Nitrile, Neoprene and Viton. Steel Test Plugs and Stoppers can be used as Drain Test Plugs, Sewerage Test Plugs, Waste Test Plugs, Plumbing, Welding Purge Plugs and many other applications.
