Main components used are of high quality cast iron or steel. Full force capacity is available from start to finish of full stroke. The thrustor is operated by an integral three phase squirrel cage motor. In traveling motions electro-magnetic disc brakes are mounted directly on motors. DC brakes for hoisting and other motions can also be provided for specific application on request.
