HPM-15 Lamp is Metal Halide UV lamp. This lamp radiate in the DIAZO range. HPM-15 Lamp is rated for 2000 W and it works on 380 V - 440 V, 50 Hz,Phase to phase supply. This lamp is generally operated in half and full power mode in UV Exposing machines For example, to operate this lamp at 2000 W in full-power mode and at 1000 W in half- power mode, two ballasts each rated for operating this lamp at 1000 W are used in parallel as shown below. To operate this lamp at 2000 W continuously without half power mode, one ballast rated for 2000 W is used. Burning position of lamp: horizontal +- 10 degrees. Applications: contact copying of images from transparent film to UV sensitive carrier. HPM - 15 lamp is made by Philips, Holland.
