Application: For use when an air pilot signal is required at a set hydraulic pressure. Can be used to shift valves, and start or stop pneumatic pumps. Attaches directly to control manifold or can be mounted “in-line” to read system hydraulic pressure. Automatically turns on an air pilot signal when a predetermined system pressure is reached. Has 1/4" NPTF male thread and 1/4" NPTF fitting for gauge mounting if required. Adjustable from 500-10,000 psi. Maximum rating of 25 scfm at 100 psi.

Flow Control Valves are used in pneumatic circuit to control the flow rate of air in the circuit. The most common application of these valves is in the regulation of piston speeds of a power cylinder. They are installed directly on the ports of the cylinder in such a manner that the discharge from the cylinder is restricted whereas the inlet fluid coming from the valve to the cylinder has free flow. Thus these valves are installed on the port opposite to which pressurised air is being fed to move the piston. Speed regulation of both strokes in a double acting cylinder is achieved by use of two separate flow control valves on each port of the cylinder.

An electronically controlled, proportional flow-control valve modulates fluid flow in proportion to the input current it receives. The valves can easily control cylinders or smaller hydraulic motors in applications that require precise speed control or controlled acceleration or deceleration.
