The AviTerm Software comprises of Centralized Processing Unit that also runs the AviTerm Application for PC display Terminals. Additionally, two services run 24 x 7 to communicate with the MDCS data logging unit and perform data validations. These units collectively work to display the meteorological observations and their graphical representations onto various PC Terminals. The AviTerm application runs on the Windows environment using SQL databases to assist in storing and distributing historical meteorological observations.
