We launched our flagship store at Colaba in 2002. Sunita Namjoshi spent 10 years exporting home linen and furnishings to clients all over the world and yet found a complete lack of affordable, attractive and good quality products in the Indian market. So, she combined great designs with traditional weaving techniques resulting in a new local contemporary brand - YAMINI. Over 5 years, we expanded our network to 9 stores in different cities offering a mix of our own and other branded products and fabrics. In 2008, we shifted focus and shut down our retail stores. We began to offer a cut-metre service of fabric through 180 distributors pan India. Responding to demand, we have re-introduced our popular products which we sell along with fabrics. While we remain faithful to our original desire, we no longer have our own stores. However, we are available through The YAMINI Pop Up Shop across the country and on our online store, jaypore.com. We are wholly owned by Synergy Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd, a privately held company.
