Application: The cast components have to be separated from sprue or runner bar. The Abrasive cut-off machine is used for this purpose. The ACM provides for a quick clean cut of in-gate and it’s cost effective to use. Specifications and Salient Features: ▪ Capacity : To cut Steel and alloy steel investment castings from the main sprue at the in-gate. ▪ Wheel rpm : up to 3800 rpm approx. ▪ Work table : The machine is provided with a solid steel work-table of size W600 X L750 with 12 mm ‘T’–slots. ▪ Abrasive wheel: Standard cut-off wheels of dia. 400mm.
