Application Certain manufacturing and some environmentally sensitive applications, require that hydraulic oils contain no metals. These oils are still required to meet the stringent testing limits imposed on zinc based formulations such as those containing HiTEC® 521 additive. However, the absence of zinc or calcium requires the use of specialized ashless chemistry such as HiTEC® 543.
