Very useful for salinity ingress prevention on barrage near sea coasts as it acts as a non return valve preventing entry of the sea water into the river but automatically allows flood water during monsoon to pass safely to sea. Can be opened or closed by means of fixed or portable Hydraulic jacks whenever so desired. Height of gate supporting piers required is equal to height of gates.

The automatic radial gate is specifically developed for use on spillways of dams, weirs and barrages. Its shell type leaf provides the necessary opening moment for its operation, when us water level reaches frl.
