SALIENT FEATURES: Quiet, soft and steady arc with easy strike and restrike. Removal of cold slag is practically automatic. The electrode provides excellent performance on A.C. as well as D.C. (+/-) Weld metal transfer uniform with fine ripples and smooth shining bead. Ideal electrode for all welding positions.   APPLICATIONS: Ideally suited for welding mild steel, structural steels, steel furnitures, truck bodies, window frames and grills, storage tanks, machineries, construction, auto parts, bridges, wagons, ship hulls, barges rail coaches, building structures, vessels, agricultural implements and tanks etc.   PRECAUTIONS:   Store electrodes in dry place. For best results re dry electrodes at 80o C for half an hour. To get sound properties use short arc. Parent metal should be free from rust, oil, grease and moisture to avoid cracking of weld. Avoid moist or greasy handling of electrodes.

A basic coated, low hydrogen electrode deposits high quality weld having good strength and ductility at sub zero temperature suitable for welding mild steel, medium high tensile steels, low alloy steels, steels of unknown composition, welding of highly restrained joints and for non machinable welds on cast iron. Typical application includes heavy machinery such as cranes, rollers, tractors, earth moving equipments, ship, Railway Coaches and Cast iron etc.  

CHARACTERISTICS: Weld bead is smooth, uniform and of radiographic quality. Due to contact welding properties no special skills required for welding. Welding of thin sheets also possible with usage of lesser current ranges.   APPLICATIONS: Steel furnitures, Automobile chasis, Steel doors and windows, Storage tanks, Sheet metal works etc.

CHARACTERISTICS: POWER 250 is a medium coated rutile type hard facing electrode. Weld deposit is an air hardening type carbon chromium alloy, which has excellent toughness and resistance to friction. Weld metal is machinable.   APPLICATIONS: Clutches, wheel axles, couplings, sprockets, gear teeth, rail end and crossings.   HARDNESS: 250-300 BHN.

Suitable for welding of Cast iron and Cast iron to Mild steel. Also suitable for parts subjected to errosion, corrosion and high temeperature. Cast iron pumps, Engine blocks, Electric motor. Ideal for repairing foundry defects, gear box,differential housing, lathe beds etc.
