How SEPL air purifier works: It utilizes the principle of electrostatic precipitation. Air with oil mist and smoke drawn in to the electrostatic precipitator first passes through metal mesh mechanical pre-filters which traps large oil mist particles and makes the airflow uniform. Then air passes through Ionizer. In ionizing section the particulate receives strong electrical charge. Then these charged particles passes into a collector section having metal plates of opposite charge. The grounded plates attract and collect oil mist and smoke particles. Electrostatic charge is generated by the high voltage power pack. Air flow passes through metal mesh mechanical post filter. Post filter improves air distribution. The other section is blower and motor. Which develops required suction and delivers fresh and clean air. Inlet plenum required for collection of air flow from duct and to distribute to next stage. Innovative filter technologies and a systematic equipment design ensure optimal separation results. The SEPL dust collector is particularly suitable for separation of fine dust. Dust can be successfully separated, such as those created in metal processing, polymer processing, pharmaceutical and ceramic industries, as well as non-metallic minerals. The SEPL units are of modular construction in order to meet different requirements, such as dust characteristics or the volume of exhausted air. SEPL dust collectors are low-noise units allow for reliable 24-hour operation with constant air flow. The dust contaminated air flows through the inlet into the filter unit. A baffle plate slows down and deflects the dust particles to protect the filter elements from direct impact. An air down-flow is created between the filter elements, allowing the dust particles to drop. A fan in the clean air chamber draws the polluted air through the filter elements, depositing the dust particles onto the filter surface. Because the filter elements are cleaned continuously by compressed air pulses during operation, the air flow remains constant. The cleaned air exits through the top of the unit and in most cases re-circulated into the working area. The separated dust falls into the dust collector containers. The pulse cleaning cycle can be adjusted for each application by means of an integrated control unit. The air flow of the fan remains nearly constant. The cleaning operation is activated either by a differential pressure regulator while in operation, or by a programmable downtime cleaning cycle.
