It is a layered silicate mineral, with one tetrahedral sheet linked through oxygen atoms to one octahedral sheet of alumina octahedra. Rocks that are rich in Whiting are known as china clay or kaolin or kaolinite. The name is derived from Gaolin ("High Hill") in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China. Whiting was first described as a mineral species in 1867 for an occurrence in the Jari River basin of Brazil Whiting is one of the most common minerals; it is mined, as kaolin, in Brazil, France, United Kingdom, Gerany, India, Australia, Korea , the People's Republic of China, and the USA. For loose plaster areas, remove the defective material and re -plaster the area with HomeSure Ready-Mix Plaster. For floors/ walls, which are not even, re-plaster with HomeSure Ready-Mix Plaster to make them even. New Construction: Before tiling the new construction should be cured for 6 weeks. Old Construction: Remove all loose portions and make good with sand cement slurry bonding coat prior to apply HomeSure Ready-Mix Tile Adhesive.MixingTake clean water as per the water demand in a clean bucket. Add 1 kg HomeSure Ready-Mix Tile Adhesive. Stir continuously by hand to obtain a homogenous lump-free paste. Tile Adhesive should be creamy like butter. Allow the resultant paste to stand for about 5 minutes for the additives to dissolve. Re-mix again for about 2 minutes. The mixture is now ready for application. Use the mix within 30 minutes.

vitcon 211 tile fix is a cementitious base powder specially formulated for adhesion of ceramic tiles and marble cladding to building surfaces. vitcon 211 tile fix is comprised of selected grades of portland cement admixed with synthetic polymeric additives to suit various requirements of thick/thin bed performance.technical specifications appearance light grey powder storage away from direct sunlight. shelf life 12 months.   applications   addition of water in powder at the ratio of approximately 12 or 13 by weight depending upon the requirement in consistency for different applications. gently stir the mix with trowel until a uniform thick consistency is achieved. apply the mix directly to the surface and press the tile firmly over it. the process can be alternated with applying the mix to the back of the tile and pressing it on the surface. tiles used should be pre-soaked in water. a 3mm thickness between tile and the surface is recommended for better performance. remove the surplus mixture from the tiles with a damp cloth. we recommend leaving the tiles for 24hrs after fixing before filling the joints with vitcon 212 tile jf or equivalent material.
