Zinc Ash Specifications : Zinc 70% (40 – 72%) Lead (Pb) 8% max ( Lesser the better) Iron (Fe) 5% max Chlorides (Cl) 25 – 30 max (Less the better) Manufacturing Process : A measured quantity of water / wash water is filled in the Digester. The measured quantity of Sulphuric acid is slowly added to the digester. The measured quantity of Zinc ash calculated on stiometic ratio is added slowly with agitation. The addition is continued till the completion of the reaction. As the reaction is complete the suspension is drained in the filtration tank for storage. The suspension is taken to Filter Press with the help of a pump. The suspension is filtered with the filter press. The residue is washed and filtered again for better recovery. After wash the residue remains is good quality Carbon. It is dried and sent to the market. The filtrate is fed to the crystallizer. The cooling is provided by circulating chilled water generated with freezing system. The solution is stirred continuously. As the required temperature is reached the Zinc Sulphate crystals separate out in the mother liquor. The mother liquor is drained into the recycling tank. The separated crystals are centrifuged with the help of centrifuge to remove any liquor remaining. The Zinc Sulphate hepta – hydrate is ready for filling in 1, 2, 5, 10, 25Kg. bags to be sent to market. For mono hydrate the filtrate is dried in a spray Drying system. The mono hydrate is collected in a hopper and packed in 1, 2, 5, 10, 25Kg. bags to be sent to the market. This is advantageous during evaporation of highly viscous products and products that have a tendency to foul the heating surfaces. Usually there must be a rather high temperature difference between the heating and boiling sides of this type of evaporator. Otherwise the energy of the vapor flow is not sufficient to convey the liquid and to produce the rising film. The length of the boiling tubes will typically not exceed 23 ft. This type of evaporator is often used with product recirculation, where some of the formed concentrate is reintroduced back to the feed inlet in order to produce sufficient liquid loading inside the boiling tubes. Applications : There is a wide range of applications for rising tube evaporators, including effluent treatment, production of polymers, food production, thermal desalination, pharmaceuticals, and solvent recovery. In terms of applications within these industries, rising tube evaporators are mainly used as reboilers for distillation columns, or as pre-concentrators or flash evaporators or pre-heaters designed to remove volatile components prior to stripping.

Milk powder manufacture is a simple process now carried out on a large scale. It involves the gentle removal of water at the lowest possible cost under stringent hygiene conditions while retaining all the desirable natural properties of the milk - colour, flavour, solubility, nutritional value. Whole (full cream) milk contains, typically, about 87% water and skim milk contains about 91% water. During milk powder manufacture, this water is removed by boiling the milk under reduced pressure at low temperature in a process known as evaporation. The resulting concentrated milk is then sprayed in a fine mist into hot air to remove further moisture and so give a powder. SEPARATION / STANDARDIZATION The conventional process for the production of milk powders starts with taking the raw milk received at the dairy factory and pasteurising and separating it into skim milk and cream using a centrifugal cream separator. If WMP is to be manufactured, a portion of the cream is added back to the skim milk to produce a milk with a standardised fat content (typically 26- 30% fat in the powder). Surplus cream is used to make butter or anhydrous milkfat.

Gypsum Granulation Plants
The Mineral Gypsum or Phospho Gypsum is Screened for lumps. The lumps are crushed fine. The powder is mixed with the binder and hardener and transferred to the granulator. In the granulation drum a very fine spray of water is done on rolling material at its angle of repose. Some coating of powder over the small nuclei / particles takes place. The size of granules are controlled as More spray, bigger granule. Less spray small granule. This duration of this process is controlled as per requirement. The material is then taken to dryer drum where the hot air generated in the furnace is passed through it. The dried material is cooled in cooler drum by passing ambient air through it . The ID fans connected to dryer & cooler sucks air from the drums so some dust also comes with it. The dust is separated in the cyclones and finally scrubbed in wet scrubber. The cooled material is screened through under size & over size screens. The product of 1 � 4 mm size is separated and packed in 50 kg. bags. The oversize material after crushing and the under size are recycled and work as nucleus for next cycle . Capacity in tons day : 75, 120, 200, 300, 400
