this is a high-speed industrial centrifuge filter that is primarily used for separating two liquids and is a culmination of the latest technology with perfect designing. Standard MaterialThe High Speed Centrifuge Filter has a prominent frame and a high-speed tubular bowl of CS/SS 304/SS 316 and is made of centrifugal casting. A slow acceleration special motor and starter operates this machine. The slurry is fed through the bottom of the bowl and the separation takes place inside the bowl by centrifugal force created by high speed. It creates separate circle of layers and comes out continuously through the bowl top and further separate discharges through covers.

Shaft And Bearings: The main shaft is of suitable steel and is amply proportioned to withstand the loads imposed on it by the centrifugal forces caused by all normal uneven distribution of the charge in the basket. The bearings supporting the main shaft are heavy duty ball/roller bearings which have a statistical life of 25000 or more running hours. These bearings are grease lubricated. Grease retainers are fitted to ensure long lubricating intervals. Drive System: The drive system consists of a 415V/3 Ph/50Hz squirrel cage induction TEFC electric motor which drives the basket through V-belts. The motor is mounted at the basket casing (outer drum) and there is provision for tensioning the belts. All models are fitted with Centrifugal clutch pulley at the motor shaft. These clutches are heavy duty types designed specially for centrifuge duties. Brake: ll models are fitted with ferodo-lined hand operated external shoe brakes. All these brakes are heavy duty types designed to bring the loaded basket which has heavy interia to an effective stop in 25 Sec. to 50 Sec. For GMP model we use VFD for brake application also Material Of Construction: This shall normally be M.S. or rubber-lined M.S. or S.S. (AISI 304 or 316) at the contact surface. The basket bottom plate is of M.S. and lined at the inside surface by rubber or stainless steel as applicable. The basket hub is of close grained cast iron.

The Tubular Centrifuge comprises of bowl, specially designed slow acceleration motor & starter. The bowl rotates at 15000 r.m.p. generating a centrifugal force of 16000 times the gravitational force. The liquid mixture to be separated enters the nozzle of the centrifuge placed at the bottom of the base. The centrifugal force acts on the liquid entering and separates the two liquids according to their specific gravities. The lighter liquid forms the inside layer and heavier liquid forms the outer layer. Since the mixture is entering continuously in the bowl, two phases are discharged continuously from two separate outlets provided on the top portion of the machine. During clarification job, one discharge of clarified liquid is possible. Solids accumulated inside the bowl can be removed manually after stopping the machine.
