Type HC is an excellent liquid tight PVC coated smooth conduit for high temperature applications. The special PVC cover maintains its flexibility under high and low temperature conditions. Hence this conduit is used for applications where extreme temperature variations have influence on the conduit. Some of its applications include: Train warning systems, transformers, security systems, wood cutting machines, etc. These conduits are resistant to UV & Sunlight. The PVC cover has good resistance against oil & grease.
