Monel 400 is a copper nickel alloy with high strength and corrosion resistance in a range of acidic and alkaline environments. Monel is based on nickel (65-70%) and copper (20-29%) and also contains iron and manganese (5%) and other compounds. Monel pipe fittings are especially suitable for reducing conditions in industries such as marine engineering, chemical processing, hydro-carbon processing, heat exchangers, valves and pumps. SSEF also stocks and supplies a complete range of monel pipes to complement our existing production range of buttweld fittings and flanges.
