The M235 Abrasion and Pilling Tester is used to determine the abrasion and pilling resistance of all kinds of textile structures. Samples are rubbed against abradents at low pressures and the amount of pilling or abrasion is compared against standard parameters.The unique design of the M235 allows tests to be set up and examined without lifting the top motion plate. The equipment is supplied with individual sample counters and pre determining batch totalizers. Fitted with a link function, it allows the user to run many different tests at the same time. Speed can be varied for accelerated testing.

The Launder-Ometer is a laboratory instrument used for conducting accelerated laundering or dyeing tests. It is applicable for performing washing, dry cleaning, dyeing, colorfastness to fulling, detergency, and other laboratory tests. It is equipped with a four-sided, stainless steel rotor, which holds five metal containers on each side. The PnuBurst employs a precision pneumatic system. The bursting pressure is applied to a circular specimen and distends it to its point of rupture. The measurement of bursting strength is expressed in kilopascals (kPa), bar, and psi. The maximum pneumatic pressure (depending on compressed air supply) is 1500 kPa, 15 bar or 200 psi.

The SDL Atlas M021A Air Permeability Tester is used for fast, simple, and accurate determination of the air permeability of all kinds of flat materials and of foam cubes. The measuring range covers dense papers and airbag fabrics as well as extremely open non-woven and forming fabrics. A specimen is clamped over the test head opening by pressing down the clamping arm which automatically starts the vacuum pump. The pre-selected test pressure is maintained, and after a few seconds the air permeability of the test specimen is displayed in the pre-selected unit of measure.
