The Waste Water Treatment Systems use an attached growth aerobic biological system which is a soundless unit which takes up atmospheric oxygen without any splashing and spraying of waste water unlike aeration systems. The effluent, which is then clarified, meets the most stringent standards with the greatest of ease. The entire system is a complete package and containerized assembly mounted on a âskidâ type base. The system produces very little sludge and that too in a completely mineralized form convertible into garden compost. Working Of Waste Water Treatment System Raw wastewater passes through a bar screen and is collected in a raw sewage tank provided by the owner and pumped at a steady rate into the ECOBIOPACK.The wastewater flows through the rotating media bioreactor where organic matter in the wastewater comes into intimate contact with a very large area of a rotating bio-film residing on synthetic media. The media has a very high specific surface and hence supports a very high microbial population.Aeration is achieved by rapid surface renewal of thin films of wastewater. As the film grows in thickness it sloughs off and a new film takes its place. This is a far superior and energy efficient system compared with bubbled aeration processes such as FAB, SAFF, MBR, MBBR etc.The effluent from RMBR flows through a bag filter type bio-film separator system that removes the sloughed biomass and renders clarity to the water. The bags are of a special hybrid hydrophobic material that expels water from sludge.Sludge retained in bags are left to dewater and form humus.Flow switches automatically between bag modules so that some of these are in the filtration mode while others are in the sludge dewatering mode. In this manner, bio-film removal and sludge dewatering happens in the same device.Humus from the bags is very small in quantity, typically 0.05 litres per cubic meter of wastewater treated. This is suitable for direct use in the garden after blending with soil and shredded dry garden residues.In the economy model clear water from the bio-film separator is directly used for gardening after passing through an ozonator or is disposed off to the drain.In the standard model, clear water is polished by pumping it through a dual media filter containing activated carbon. Filtered water is disinfected using an Ultra violet disinfection unit or an ozonator before utilization for toilet flushing.In the advanced model, the filtered water is pumped through a cartridge filter and an ultra filtration system for further polishing. No further disinfection is needed. The membrane pack is automatically back-flushed with air and water pulses for 30 seconds every half an hour or as defined by the user thereby keeping the membranes clean.A V notch type flow meter is provided for the Economy Model, a bypass Orifice type Rotameter for the standard model and a magnetic flow meter with integrator for the advanced version.All models are automated but provided with an emergency manual override.Standard and advanced models are fitted with 2 cameras and a digital video recorder.
