Plate Shifting Device
The system shifts the individual plates, opens the filtration chambers and allows the emptying of the filter press. Automatic shifting replaces manual handling of the plates. Benefits and fields of use: Designed mainly for filter presses with large plates or a great number of plates Significant facilitation of the filter press attendance – two workers are needed for manual shifting of large plates, only one worker is needed to check the process of emptying of the filter press during automatic extraction Process automation and shortened emptying period Adjustable speed of plates shifting Automatic plates shifting options: Individually plate by plate – gradual shifting of single plates until all the set is shifted. The process can be interrupted any time and the operator can remove possible impurities from the cloth. The single plates are fixed to the steel plate connected with hydraulic cylinder at certain distances and when the steel plate moves, the particular groups of plates are shifted at once. Plate & Frame Type Press
The filtration chambers of the filter presses with frames consist of two types of filter plates: frame and filtrating. The frame defines a filtration chamber and it is closed on both sides by the adjacent filtration plates with drainage draining filtrate. The thickness of the frame plate determines the thickness of the filtration cake – it usually ranges between 10 – 50 mm. After passing clothes installed on the filtration plates, the filtrate is drained by drainage to channels drilled inside the plate and it is discharged out of the filter press. The working pressure usually ranges between 6 – 15 bars.

Membrane Filter Press
The working room of the membrane filter press consists of chambers, limited by two adjacent plates with recesses in the central part. Unlike the chamber plates, the drainage draining the filtrate is located on movable membranes serving for pressing and “wringing” of the filtrated cake. Water or air under pressure is used to compress the membranes. Once the filter press is filled with the suspension, this medium is fed to the room under the membranes and its subsequent lifting compresses the cake and pushes out the residual liquid. The liquid passes through the cloth and is discharged out of the filter press. The thickness of the filtration chamber is usually 30 – 50 mm before compressing, by compressing the membrane it is reduced most often by 20 – 40%.The suspension is fed via a central or corner inlet passing through the whole set of plates. The filtrate is drained by drainage on the membrane surface (under clothes) and then by channels drilled inside the plates out of the filter press. Filtrating (filling) pressure before the start of the membrane compression is usually 8 bars, it rises up to 15 bars during compressing (structurally, we manufacture filter presses to a maximum pressure of 30 bars).The filter presses are equipped with a security system, which will not enable opening of the filter presses if the system of membrane compression was not previously decompressed. This prevents from damaging to the membranes by accidental opening of the filter press. The filtration plates including membranes are standard made of polypropylene, another material can be chosen.

These hydraulic power units (HPUs) consist of a base power unit, low-pressure manifold, and a high-pressure manifold. The base power unit includes a hydraulic oil reservoir, an electric motor, and a low-pressure hydraulic pump. High-speed models also include a high-pressure pump driven by the same motor. The low-pressure pump supplies hydraulic fluid to the low pressure manifold for the operation of automatic hydraulic plate shifters, drip trays, cloth washers, and the main cylinder.

CGR(Zero Leak) Type Filter Press
These are advance version of Recessed Chamber Closed configuration plates, where Filter Cloth is caulked in the caulking groove around the recess plate. Fully customizable filter press for every possible application. Automatic Cloth Washing Filter Press is one of them. PLATE SHIFTING Hydro-mechanical shifting of the filter element by the pair of articulated carries, which are fixed two endless chains and which grip the last filter element ,displace it towards those already shifted and automatically release it. An interlocking system ensures that the filter elements are shifted one after other. Alternatively, the snatch and latch plate opening system can be adapted to the filter to open the plates in a continuous sequence for non-sticky cakes. SET OF FILTER PLATE The parallel recessed filter plates or plates and frames respectively are available in a wide range of materials.
