This is a simple alternative for medium & bigger capacities where Heatless Dryer become uneconomical due to heavy purge losses. In this type of dryer the regeneration is accomplished with a very small portion of dried air/gas, which is circulated in the tower duly filled with desiccant and embedded with heating elements. The advantage to this type of dryer is that purge loss is reduced to almost 3-5% dew point upto (-80oC) can be achieved. Details : This is improved version of heat less dryer where purge air loss is very very low due to regeneration is achieved by dry air at low pressure and at high temperature. To achieve this heaters are provided in each tower to heat the purge air to around 180 Deg C, which enhances its moisture carrying capacities. REFRIGERATED TYPE COMPRESSED AIR DRYER As the temperature of air reduces, its water vapour holding capacity comes down drastically. This principle is employed in Refrigerated type dryers. Compressed air is cooled by refrigeration system thereby reducing its water vapour holding capacity. Water vapours above the holding capacity at reduced temperature condense into water droplets and are removed in water separator. The resultant compressed air becomes dry to pressure dew point equal to its reduced temperature (generally around+2°C to +8°C). As long as the temperature of compressed air, as it travels through the system does not fall below the dew point temperature produced in the dryer, no more water vapours will condense into troublesome liquid in downstream air lines.

Compressed air with saturated water vapor enters the dryer’s pre-cooling device, in which, the entered hot air is cooled down by the outgoing cold air partly, thus reducing the load on the system (this process is pre-cooling). Pre-cooled air enters the evaporator. Here, heat released by the air is absorbed by media and the air reaches the pre-set temperature (2 ~ 4oC). After being cooled, the water vapor in the air condenses into droplets and is separated from the air by steam separator and then flows out of the dryer through automatic drainer. Leaving the separator, cold air enters into the pre-cooling device’s shell side for heat exchange with hot air in the inlet and leaves the dryer after being heated to a temperature about 10oC lower than that of the inlet air. This reheating prevents the second moisture condensation in the outside exit air pipeline and downstream pipeline, increases the energy of the air and improves the effectiveness. In addition, after passing through the dryer, solid dust of over 3μ in the compressed air is all filtered, and the air source quality reaches the clean and dry requirements. We are offering heat of compression air dryer. with the assistance of our dexterous team, we are involved in offering an extensive range of heat of compression type air dryers. In these dryers the compressed air is directly taken to air dryer with the inlet using insulated pipelines. This is achieved at the 120o c, which is the minimum temperature. After, which the hot air is passed through one drying vessel where saturated desiccant is regenerated by this hot air. Further, after picking up moisture from desiccant bed, the air is cooled in an intermediate cooler, wherein the moisture is condensed and removed by auto drain valve. As these are cooled to 40oc, this air passes through the second drying vessel, where the balanced moisture gets adsorbed after, which the dry air comes out. The cycle time of this process includes 4 hours regeneration & 4 hours drying. Moreover, after this 4 hours cycle the changeover of vessels takes place automatically. Further, in this regeneration cycle heating of the bed requires only 2 hours, and thereafter the bed is cooled by dry air. Thus, after the bed cooling, the dry air is again cooled to 40oc in another cooler, which is delivered out of unit as dry air at 40o c temp. Salient features no power requirement for regeneration. No loss of compressed air. Maintenance is easy as there are no blower, no heaters, and no moving parts. Maintains desiccant adsorption capacity to give (-) 400c dew point for almost 5 years.
