With advances in technology in modern day Telecommunications, over a period of time, it became very important to upgrade the HDPE pipes to be used particularly for Telecom applications. The Optical Fibre Cables used for Telecommunications being very delicate and sensitive, it became necessary to modify the HDPE Pipes to be used as conduits for optical fibre cables. This led to the development of Permanently Lubricated (PLB) HDPE Telecom Ducts. ASHISH PIPES is one of the first very few manufacturers to acquire technology and equipment for establishing complete manufacturing facility for PLB-HDPE Telecom Ducts.   At AP, PLB-HDPE Telecom Ducts are manufactured using ultra-violet (UV) stabilized grade of HDPE with required Anti Oxidant content and other recommended additives. Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) HDPE pipes are similar to normal HDPE pipes except that they have different external & internal surfaces which gives them additional strength and stiffness. These are made with High Density Polyethylene which has very high life expectancy. These are externally corrugated and have smooth surface inside and are available from 75 mm to 1.6 mtr. dia. These pipes are light weight and can be used for non-pressure underground sewerage, drainage & cross drainage (pipe culvert) including rain water harvesting purposes. They are maintenance free and therefore, once installed, will lie underground for years.   Expected Service life: 75 to 100 years. Environmentally safe: No leaks, no cracks and no damage to environment. Socio-environmental friendliness: Pipe laying does not disturb urban clusters. Cost effective: Uses minimal material for equal strength. Maintenance is low because of non-adherence of sewage elements on the chemically inert pipe surfaces, no chance of corrosion and zero to low damages.   Ease of Installation: No heavy loading and carrying machinery is required. They are user friendly, very fast and inexpensive in installation. Use less manpower and can be installed in very constrained locations. They come with simple push fit joints with Elastomeric Sealing Ring for on-line system or with extra couplers. Joining time is 2-5 minutes per joint. Chemical Resistance: Chemically inert to waste water ingredients and ‘crown corrosion’ is non-existent. Available in 6mt. standard length.
