Drawing & Painting Classes
One of oldest forms of human expression that we know of is drawing, before written communication came into being there have been multiple incidences where it has been proved to be the existing form of communication. It has been proven over the due course of time that drawing has been used as a special way of communication prior to the time when humans though of inventing the written language. We have all come across cave and rock paintings that were created by the Homo sapiens around 30, 000 years ago. Over the years these drawings and paintings have depicted explicitly abstract art and concepts. The sketches and paintings that were made in the prehistoric times were ultimately styled and simplified, advancing to the growth of the written language as we know it today. In the early times artists used to keep re using the wooden tablets to make their drawings over and over again. But later when the spread of paper post the 14th century increased, it was then when the art of drawing took rage among people. This was the point when drawing became much more than just a mere form of art, it became a way of tool used to put though and investigation into place, this became a medium of studies which people started to prepare for their final pieces of work. In a period of artistic flourish, the Renaissance brought about drawings exhibiting pragmatic representative qualities where there was a lot of manipulation of the geometry and philosophy. We at Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya Noida believe that drawing can be used to express an individual’s creativity and imagination and hence it is imperative that the individual is familiar to the world of art. Whatever sort of history we have comprehended has stated that drawing has been regarded as the foundation for any kind of artistic practice.
