These transducers offer the major advantage of versatility in system design. The custom cleaning tank can be nearly any size that is appropriate to the application, and the transducers can be mounted so that the ultrasonic energy is directed and concentrated where it is needed most. In many cases, our customers already have an existing tank, which they wish to convert into an ultrasonic aqueous cleaning, or solvent cleaning system. this is possible using submersible ultrasonic systems. All submersible ultrasonic systems are composed of 1 or more submersible transducer packs, and 1 or more ultrasonic generators which connect to these packs to create an ultrasonic aqueous cleaner out of any existing tank. Submersible transducers for aqueous cleaners are hermetically sealed stainless steel boxes, approximately 3-4" tall, which contain any number of individual ultrasonic transducers. The submersible transducer pack is positioned on the tank bottom or sides, and connected to the ultrasonic generator using a liquid-tight riser tube, which passes the electrical cable through the top of the cleaning tank. Other electrical mounting options include the use of bulkhead mounts, which require that a hole be cut into the tank bottom through which the electrical cable will pass. immersible transducer configurations transonic offers three transducer configurations, which vary according to there mounting means and electrical connections: type 1the most versatile type; does not require holes in the tank. May be side or bottom mounted using integral mounting flanges. Watertight 3' lead cables included. Special lengths available; also right-angle fitting for tight radius turns. Type 2for bottom mounting, especially where under tank clearance prevents use of type. May be affixed to tank bottom, using integral mounting flange. Standard 1º" mounting fitting supplied; other lengths available. The most versatile type; does not require holes in the tank. May be side or bottom mounted using integral mounting flanges. Watertight 3' lead cables included. Special lengths available; also right-angle fitting for tight radius turns. Type 3for side mounting; most commonly only in high-power applications. One or two bulkhead fittings, depending on transducer size. Supplied with 8' rf cable, which allows master junction box to be remotely located. Special length cables available.
