The tank's cylindrical steel shell is constructed from two-layer glass-fused sheets, which are fastened using high-grade bolts and sealed with flexible silicone sealants. The connecting materials and shell accessories are treated with surface coatings to ensure durability and longevity. Quality Assurance and High Standards Each sheet used in GLS tanks undergoes a thorough inspection at the manufacturer's facility to ensure the enamel layer's completeness. This process involves the use of POROSCOPE (DEZ 4.13) and PINHOLE (DEZ 4.12) tests, as per DIN ISO 2746 standards. Additionally, the chemical resistance and physical properties are tested according to DIN standards, complying with the highest quality requirements established by the German Enameller's Association (DEZ).
