All traces of greases or oil must be removed. SF TILEFIX ADHESIVE can be applied directly on concrete, cement screeds, cement, lime mortars and existing tiles.MIXING AND FINISHING:SF Tilefix adhesive should be mixed with water in the ratio of 3:1 by volume. Water can be reduced or increased slightly to increase required consistency. A slow speed drill fitted with a suitable mixing paddle is recommended. Hand mixing may be allowed if drill/paddle is not available.Remove excess adhesive with a damp both before material has set. Joint grouting may be commenced 24 hours after tiles have been laid. It gives additional frost protection by reducing water content and accelerating hydration of cement. SF fastset admixture ensures accelerating the setting time of plain cement concrete for early development of strength confirming existing norms. The optimum dosage rate is 500ml – 1 ltr/50 kg bag of cement, typical properties are :-5G = 1.37 ± 0.05pH = >6solid content = 40% Shelf Life & Storage12 months storage life when stored in original unopened container at between 5 oC to 45 oC in a dry and shaded place.Packing & Dosage1, 5,10,50,20 & 250 KGSThe optimum dosage is best determined by site trial. The dosage rate is 500 ml to 1 ltr per 50 kgs of cement. METHOD OF APPLYING-Shake the container of SF FASTSET ADMIXTURE properly.– Pour SF FASTSET ADMIXTURE in cylinder up to the level which is required as per the dosage recommended. Due to rigorous shaking of admixture, air bubbles are formed in it, so in measuring cylinder, read the lower meniscus of admixture while taking sample.– Bucket or container must be rinsed with water in which the water is to be taken for making the concrete.-Then take calculated amount of water in bucket and take water in breaker of 200ml from the bucket carefully without splashing of water.-Add measured amount of SF FASTSET ADMIXTURE from measuring cylinder to water cylinder with water in breaker and add the washed water in bucket to avoid the loss of admixture which stick inside the walls of cylinder.-Add the remaining water, if any, in breaker to the bucket.-Mix the admixture properly in water.-If electrically operated mixer machine is used for making concrete before using the machine wash the drum of machine with water in such a way that all particles which is sticking on the sides of drum, be washed off.-After washing of mixture buttering is done. In buttering, cement mortar proportion 1;1 is mixed with water of flowing consistency and it is added in drum and drum is allowed to spread in entire drum excess mortar is removed off.-Add coarse aggregate of 20mm first in drum followed by 10mm aggregate and sand. Rotate the mixture for 1 min for dry mixing of aggregates.-After dry mixing of aggregates, add cement into drum and allow it to rotate for 1 min for dry mixing of cement, and coarse aggregates.-Add calculated amount of water admixed with SF FASTSET ADMIXTURE into dry mix of concrete. Allow mixer to rotate at least for two minutes. After proper mixing of concrete, it is ready to use for concreting work.Health & Safe;SF FASTSET ADMIXTURE is non –hazardous. It should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin or eyes. Suitable protective goggles and gloves should be worn. In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately, do not induce vomiting.   Technical Properties

DescriptionSF ROCKHARD is a ready to use cementations system with special fillers industrial floor admixture, for factory controlled dry shake cementations system for high abrasion, wear resistance and additives with the purpose of high performance workability. SF ROCKHARD is use for dense, tough, scratch resistant industrial floor with non dusty and nonslip characteristics. 12mm thick SF ROCDHARD is recommended for an extremely heavy duty floor. Giving compressive strength 800 kg/cm2 at 28th day, who’s scale hardness is between 8- 9 scale & abrasion resistance compared to groan by over 200%. Method of ApplyingBASE CONCRETEThe base concrete should have minimum cement content of 300 kg/m3 with low slump of 40-60mm. METHOD OF LAYING BASE CONCRETTE The base concrete must be laid in accordance with good concrete practice wither in bays or long strip. Particular care must be taken at the corners and edges of the bays to obtain good compaction and to maintain level for subsequent trowel operations. If too much of free water is seen on the surface, water content in subsequent concrete must be reduced to obviate the presence of free water. The time of the application is very important in order to derive full benefits of SF ROCKHARD.If it is applied too early; it will absorb water hard wearing aggregate may sink to the bottom. If application of SF ROCKHARD is delayed, no moisture from the concrete surface will be available to hydrate SF ROCKHARD,resulting in poor pitted surface. As a guide, the application should be made between 1 hours-1.5 Hours.i.e when surface water on concrete is COMPLETELY EVAPORATED. (when tested with thumb, it leaves an impression but concrete does not stick to the thumb). The application rate is 5kg/m2 of SF ROCKHARD (1)The application is made in two stages, First 50% of the required material is broadcast evenly and when the surface darkens with the absorption of water, the surface is floated.(2)The second application is made immediately by evenly broadcasting the balance 50% material and when the surface has darkened with the absorption of water, the surface is floated. Power floating would be ideal. Floating is recommended with half of full disc. The second troweling is done after the surface has sufficiently stiffened i.e. after two hours after the first troweling, to close any pores and remove any undulations on the surface. Final hand trowelling is recommended to remove any disc marks. (3) CURINGAfter final trowelling, as soon as the surface has hardened sufficiently, to prevent damage, it should be covered with a polythene sheet and made air tight by placing sand all round the sheet for a minimum period of 7 day.
