We are offering reliable Instrument Transformers which are used for the measurement of electric currents. Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) together are known as Instrument Transformers. When current in a circuit is too high to directly apply to measuring instruments, a CT produces a reduced current accurately proportional to the current in the circuit, which can be conveniently connected to measuring and recording instruments. A CT also isolates the measuring instruments from what may be very high voltage in the monitored circuit. A CT is commonly used in metering & protective relays in electrical power industry. CT is used for protection, measurement and control in high voltage electrical substations and the electrical Grid. CT may be installed inside switchgear or in apparatus bushings, but very often free-standing outdoor CT'S are used. A high-voltage CT may contain several cores with multiple secondary windings for different purposes (such as metering circuits, control, or protection). PT is used in electrical power system for stepping down the system voltage to a safe value which can be fed to low ratings meters and relays. Commercially available relays and meters used for protection and metering, are designed for low voltage. PT has lower turns winding at its secondary. The system voltage is applied across the terminals of primary winding of that transformer, and then proportionate secondary voltage appears across the secondary terminals of the PT. We are well known in the field of supplying Instrument Transformers and we have the ability to provide CT PT of any ratio & voltage.Highlight Robust construction Less consumption of energy Precision Functioning
