Jute Cloth
15 - 23 Per Meter
Jute Cloth is a woven fabric usually made from the jute plant and is similar to gunny cloth or sacking cloth. It is a plain weave, finer quality fabric and lighter than sacking cloth made wholly of Jute with a single warp and weft interwoven. Also termed as burlap in North America, it is mainly used to make Hessian bags - long preferred as a packaging material to transport food grains, potatoes and onions etc. and which meets international standards for food safety. The cheap price, re-usability, stacking capabilities etc. make it an ideal choice for transportation and storage. The cloth is available in squares and rolls and is used also for wrapping and to make a variety of other jute products
