Hobbed and run-in heat treated gears from high carbon & alloy steels for long trouble free service. Standardised unit sub-assemblies used for complete range, ensuring possibility of spares supply from stock. Wide range of lifts, hoisting, cross & long travel Optimum design ensuring minimum dead weight, wheel loads, head rooms and clearances, reducing building costs. Speeds to suit every operational requirement. Quick deliveries and prompt service after sales. Design Amply proportioned main girder of box section, fabricated from tested quality IS-2062 plates, all butt welds 100% radiographed. Main girder further stiffened with long and short diaphragms. End carriages, either from rolled sections or fabricated from plates. Well proportioned rotating axle type runner wheels on "L" type bearing housings. Rope Drum fabricated from seamless pipes to ASTM A-106 Grade B or from IS-2062, stress relieved & long seams 100% radiographed. PaintingAll exposed parts primed with Red-Oxide Zinc Chromate Primer and finished with Enamel paint to customer's colour scheme.Bridge Drive Single/Twin drive with squirrel cage/slip ring induction motors. Through totally enclosed, oil immersed, helical gearboxes. All single drive units, Provided with amply proportioned line shafting, supported on self aligning bearings, housed in plummer blocks. BrakeElectro hydraulic thrusters for all motions. Electric Wire Rope Hoists
Special Features Totally enclosed Class "F" insulated conical rotor, crane duty motor. Simple and robust braking system. No additional connections for the braking system, the normal motor connection sufficient. Modular construction and assembly facilitate easy maintenance. Built-in conical disc brake for hoist and cross travel completely mechanical. There is no magnetic coil therefore no chance of coil burning. No downtime, and no need to keep stock of brake coils. A large number of starts per hour, because starting against a delayed brake release is impossible and the motor is not additionally heated by a brake coil. Trolley is so designed, that is adaptable to wide variations in I-beam sizes. Limit switches to prevent accidental overhoisting and overpowering are standard features. All shafts mounted on anti-friction bearings. Micro speed attachment will be provided with WVF Drive on request at extra price.
