...moreAvmounts Cushy Foot Mountings
We manufacture Avmount Cushy Foot Mountings that find wide uses in diesel engines, combustion engines, air conditioning units, etc. Our range includes the ACF/A series and the ACF/B series. Avmount Cushy Foot Mountings are designed such that when any equipment is placed on them, the rubber-to-metal bonded rectangular inserts are loaded in compression and shear-a combination which lends longevity with the best load/deflection characteristics. These cannot become 'solid' and thus rendered ineffective-a failure from which many so-called anti-vibration devices. Our mountings are so designed that the rubber is protected from oil and physical damage by the use of robust castings. They also provide three planes of stiffness-vertical transverse and longitudinal, thereby allowing them to be employed for optimum performance and use. Full advantage can be taken of this characteristic by disposing the mountings so that greater flexibility is available in the direction in which it is needed. The mountings are made to suit a very wide range of loads from 50 kg to 1500 kg. This is possible by designing the rubber compound suitably. Avmount Cushy Foot Mountings are employed with friction locating pads to eliminate the need for grouting, thus making the mounts easy to fit resulting in a neat installation. Additionally, shifting of the location of the instrumentation or machinery is possible with minimum of effort. Applications of Cushy Foot Mountings Diesel Generating Sets/Diesel Engines Air Compressors (both reciprocating type and screw compressors) Fan and Motor Units Air Conditioning Units Combustion Engines Mixers, Crushers and Rolling Mills ACF/A Series

To obtain optimum performance from machine tools after installation, the noise levels must be reduced and the external and inherent vibrations kept to a minimum. In order to achieve this, Avmount Anti-Vibration mountings can be used that are not only easy to install but also provide for precise-levelling. The mounts absorb shocks and impacts caused by punching machines and presses as also the horizontal forces from injection moulding machines and shaping machines. The mounts keep the machinery firmly in position whilst aiding smooth operation. Avmounts eliminate mass movements of shaping machines and prevent them from drifting. Lathes, grinding machines and other precision machines are protected from external shock loads and vibrations. Applications of Mountings (Type AV) Lathes Machine Mounts Millling Machine Mounts Shaping Machine Mounts Grinding Machine Mounts Power Press Mounts Hydraulic Press Mounts Knibller Mounts Notching Machine Mounts Press Brake Mounts Guillotine Shear Mounts Rubber Processing Machinery Mounts Wood Working Machine Mounts Benefits of Mountings (Type AV) No foundation or grouting required Easy installation Precision levelling No external shock loads or vibrations Absorption of shocks and impacts Machinery firmly positioned thus preventing wandering Lower noise levels Mobility of machinery Immediate commissioning
...moreavmount cup type shock mounts
AVC Cup Type Shock Mounts are specifically designed for the protection of equipment from high impact shocks, medium to high frequency vibrations and these therefore serve as a barrier against structure-borne noises. The latter is particularly useful for communication, radar, electronic and other sensitive equipment installed in vehicles, ships, aircraft and other mobile installations. The movement of a vehicle over rough terrain or tracks on land, through inclement weather at sea or past gunfire or other explosions on land, sea or air, results in high impact, high frequency shocks being generated. Shocks are also the result because of careless or accidental handling of equipment during transit. AVC Cup Type Shock Mounts are useful in all such cases. Our mounts in addition, provide vibration isolation from 40 cps upwards although this is dependent on the system resonant frequency. AVC Cup Type Shock Mounts are compact in design and its mild steel components are so designed and assembled as to be self-captivating, that even if the rubber component is destroyed, the equipment still remains firmly attached to the supporting structure. The use of rubber in compression lends the characteristics of increased stiffness with deflection, thereby ensuring good shock protection without sudden bottoming. The characteristic of equal stiffness in all directions provides shock and vibration protection in all directions, whilst also allowing the isolators to be so installed that they are loaded either radially or axially, upright or inverted. Applications of Mountings (Type AVC) Electronic Equipment Teleprinters Defence Equipment

Advantages for Installation of Machinery on Mounts Optimum performance of your Equipment. No foundation or grouting required. Precise levelling. Free from external shock loads and vibrations. Absorbs shock and impacts. Prevents wandering. Firm positioning. Lower noise level. Mobility of machine lay-out. Immediate commissioning. Installation of AVMOUNT Mounts:Type - AV-SL Series It take a few minutes to instal the machine on mounts Lift up the machine from the floor. Keep the mount below the machine so that the levelling guide should be exactly under the machine base. Level the machine using a precision spirit level tighten the side levelling bolt to raise the levelling guide and adjust the height of the mount to obtain precise levelling. Tighten the lock nut after levelling, to prevent any alterations in level while operation. Applications: Type - AV-SL Machine tools / general purpose machines, Lathes, Milling machines, Shaping Machines, Grinding Machines, Power Presses, Hydraulic presses, Nibblers, Notching Machines, Press Brakes, Guillotine shears, Rubber Processing Machinery, Special Purpose Machines, Wood Working Machines. AVMOUNT Machine Mounts The primary requisite of machine tool installation, for its optimum service, is a lower noise level, free from external and inherent vibrations, easy installation and precise levelling. AVMOUNT Machine Mounts provide all these and absorb shocks and impacts from punching machines and presses, also the horizontal forces from injection moulding machines. AVMOUNT Machine Mounts are also used in all places where you need a safe machine installation without floor anchorage. AVMOUNT Machine Mounts have beneficial effect on working performance, working conditions in the adjacent premises such as offices and laboratories are enormously improved. AVMOUNT Machine Mounts consist of oil and age resistant synthetic rubber and the compact mount gives the optimal absorption of vibration. Mounting Procedure (Type AV) Lift the machine slightly above the floor. Screw down the bolts into their respective guides. Lower the machine so that it rests on the machine mounts. Level the machine using a precision spirit level as illustrated. Tighten the lock nut after levelling, to prevent any alterations in level while in operation. The adjustable height of our mounting is as follows: Should the levelling exceed this limit because of an uneven floor, then a spacer of appropriate diameter and thickness should be inserted between the machine base and the mount, to compensate for the difference in the floor level at any support point. In some machines, the design of the base is hollow and the bolt hole provided is such that the mountings cannot be directly fixed to the base. In such cases, the machine is made to rest on an adequate size of flats and the mountings placed under them. The rest of the procedure is the same as discussed. If the bolt lengths are more, the chamfered end may be cut to suit the machine. After cutting it to the required length, then chamfer the end to an included angle of 120 degrees and a 3 mm depth. This is necessary when machine bases have pockets as illustrated. In case of light machines running at very high rpm's, there may be a tendency for the machine to drift a little. In such cases, apply Dunlop's S 758 rubber adhesive on the floor and on the bottom surface of the rubber mounting and then lower the machine on to the mount. In a few hours the mount will stick to the floor and thus prevent even minute shifting of the machine. This is necessary in case of high frequency generators, bench grinders, power presses, notching machines, etc. Capacity: 100 kg to 2000 kg per mounting.Click here to find the right kind of mount for your machine
