Ribbon Blender is made up of a U-shaped horizontal trough and having a set of inner & outer helical ribbons that lead to counter current action for perfect blending. Filling of Two-third of the volume of the container should be filled, to ensure proper mixing.

The air blender manufactured by Cybernetik Technologies is a large silo interfaced with a filter unit for venting of air. The feed to the blender is typically achieved by pneumatic conveying or gravity discharge from a big bag. The main blender unit has a central pipe with multiple inlets and runs through the silo. With specialized deflector plates above each inlet, products are drawn into the blending pipe at equal volumes at different levels of the blender. This ensures a consistent blend that’s representative of the contents inside the blending silo. The center core pipe serves to disperse the powder at different levels in the blender thus contributing significantly to the mixing process. Air from a twin lobe blower is pumped into the central core pipe which allows for the powder at the bottom to be conveyed to the top.

Conical blender consists of a conical vessel with a double start helix ribbon mounted on central shaft. This type of blender is used for mixing, granulation and homogenizing applications. It handles a range of applications from all types of powders including free flowing to cohesive and moist powders, bulk dry materials to wet cakes and slurries.Mixing time depends on the ribbon speed.
