Heatless Air Dryers Mini Dryer Request a Quote Operation :The complete ADU operates in following three modes.Drying Mode :The wet saturated compressed air coming from set of pre filters is led through one of the inlet valve (Operated by electronic timer) to the desiccant bed tower. The highly hygroscopic desiccant bed with sufficient air resident time due to proper velocity results in absorbing the moisture vapour and dries the air to desired level of dew point.Regeneration Mode :The small amount of dried air at almost atmospheric pressure is led through purge line to the saturated desiccant bed tower. The absorbed moisture in desiccant bed at earlier drying mode is desorbed in purged dry air and regeneration takes place.Pressurisation Mode :To avoid the pressure fluctuations at outlet of dryer, the regeneration mode tower is put in for pressurisation before it switches to drying mode. The entire operation is electronic timer controlled and automatic at various modes shown above for proper sequence and timing. The total cycle time is 10 minutes or 4 minutes as per timer selection for required dew point.

Energy conservation by heat of compression type compressed air dryer is a breakthrough in compressed air drying technology. The hot air from the oil-free air compressor at 120°c or higher temp, is used directly for regeneration of the desiccant bed in the compressed air dryer. After regeneration, this air is cooled down to 40°c in the water cooled after cooler and then it is dried in second tower. Thus the use of heaters is eliminated. For eg. In the 6 + 6 hrs. Cycle the hot air is fed for regeneration of desiccant bed for 4 hrs. And for balance 2 hr. Achangeover takes place where the air is first cooled in an after cooler, then dried and before going to the outlet, cools the regenerated desiccant bed, thus bringing it down to ambient temperature. this cycle is reversed for the next 6 hrs. Where the adsorber drying the air in the previous cycle goes for regeneration and vice versa. There is considerable power saving in these type of compressed air dryers and the dew point is also better than the refrigerated type of compressed air dryers . Main advantage of heat of compression type compressed air dryer is the energy conservation and heat recovery achieved which is being wasted in after cooler in the conventional air dryers is now used to reactivate the desiccant.

Heat less dryer works on the principal of absorption. Regenerative air dryers use desiccant media absorbs moisture contaminate from compressed air. The desiccant media can be regenerated by purging air and remove moisture it collect and remove again and again. So the dryness of the compressed air achieved up to atmospheric -40'c dew point. The traditional refrigeration type air dryer does not provide sufficient air quality required for special applications. Guru regeneration heat less dryer contains smooth uniform achieved alumina balls size t\at prevents channeling of compressed air flow, which maintains low bed velocities. This maintains air contact time for efficient moisture removal and minimal pressure drops. Guru have electronic control timer for pneumatically pilot valves are chosen for long life and high air flow. A pre filter, oil removing filter, after filter offering purification to 5 micron can be specified purge loss and pressure drop are kept at a minimum resulting in lower operating costs. Working Principle During an operating cycle inlet air directed to pre filter, here moisture and dust particles are removed then air enters to oil removing filter here we remove flooded oil. As wet air flows through the desiccant tower bed the twin tower design of our dryers allows simultaneous compressed air drying and desiccant regenerated without interruption to the compressed air flow. At the end of the drying cycle the regenerated tower is re-pressurized and tower operation is reversed automatically. After tower change over wet inlet air is directed to the regenerated tower and the previously used desiccant is regenerated by the same process. A complete cycle of drying and regeneration is 10 minutes or 6 minutes timing is precisely controlled by Guru electronic timer. When this contaminated compressed air is used for various applications, it may cause failures of pneumatic valves, instruments, etc which results in the downtime of whole system. Our Air Dryers remove the moisture to a level of 80 ppm(w) by using pressure swing adsorption technology. The wet air enters into one desiccant tower and gets dried by the high performance desiccant adsorbent. The dry air passes through check valves and post filter to the utility. A portion of dry air (depending on the operating pressure and required dew point temperature) passes through an orifice into the other saturated tower at near atmospheric pressure, liberates the entrapped moisture in the desiccant to the atmosphere and regenerates it for the next drying cycle.
