ATFD is a modernized apparatus used for continuous processing of concentrated materials into dry solids. It consists of a shell with heatingjacket and a rotor centrally placed inside the shell equipped with rows and pendulum blades of length of the dryer.The wet feed is evenly distributed over the heated walls with the help of hinged blades of the rotor. The high turbulence evaporates the water/solvent only to convert the liquid into a slurry form, a cake, dry powder/ flex.The vapour rises upwards and collected as a condensate in a condenser. This dryer is similar to the internal heater type dryer except that no process air is wasted. For regeneration, a blower provides the atmospheric air which is pre-heated in an external heater, to regenerate the desiccant bed. Therefore no process air is used for regeneration. The unit is fully automatic.

The roto cone dryer facilitates enhanced drying efficiency, low temperature operation and economy of process by total solvent recovery. The drying unit equipped with lump breakers initially breaks large lumps and subsequently powders them (in single cone). The rotary action of the dryer together with mechanical action of the breakers cuts down drying time and gives a lump free product.

The desiccant media can be regenerated by purging air and remove moisture it collect and remove again and again. So the dryness of the compressed air achieved up to atmospheric -40'c dew point. The traditional refrigeration type air dryer does not provide sufficient air quality required for special applications. It contains contaminants like solid (dust particles), liquid (moisture) and oil which contaminates the compressed air. Our Air Dryers remove the moisture to a level of 80 ppm(w) by using pressure swing adsorption technology. The wet air enters into one desiccant tower and gets dried by the high performance desiccant adsorbent. The dry air passes through check valves and post filter to the utility. A portion of dry air (depending on the operating pressure and required dew point temperature) passes through an orifice into the other saturated tower at near atmospheric pressure, liberates the entrapped moisture in the desiccant to the atmosphere and regenerates it for the next drying cycle. A reliable electronic timer controls the cycle and valve operations effectively thereby ensures continuous dry air output to the utility.
