Depending upon the inlet air temperature Furnace Blower could be 1. Direct Mounted Fans and Blower for Furnaces (Impeller directly mounted on motor shaft) 2. Indirectly Mounted Fans and Blower for Furnaces (Impeller indirectly connected with motor shaft via. Belt drive) High pressure blowers with inlet air temperature below 70deg. C. and direct mounting are compact in construction and runs with high speed motor. These blowers are mostly used for supplying fresh air to furnace for combustion purpose. Furnace blowers with inlet temperature above 100deg. C. are indirect belt drive blowers. Air blowers for Furnace/ Combustion application with inlet air temperature above 400deg. C. are manufactured from SS-304 material.  

Air Blowers are used for smoke and contaminated air exhaust in industries and for kitchen exhaust in commercial applications. Selection of suitable blower mainly depends on following factors1. In dust collection systems, blower collects dust from generating point and carry it via ducting to Dust Collector. The dust collector may be of Bag Type/ Cyclone Type. The dust particles are trapped & collected in bin of dust collector and dust free clean air is exhausted to atmosphere. DIDW Fans are used for releatively high flow and low pressure application. The fans have most widespread use in HVAC, Ventilation Systems and Paint Shop applications.As the name sugests air enters the fan from both the ends .The use of DIDW Fan construction reduces the impeller diameter. DIDW blowers are greater in width as compared to SISW (Single inlet single wheel) Fans. The impeller is supported by bearings and both ends. The drive arrangement is belt driven.
