Wedge Anchors with Nut & Washers or Through Bolts in MS/SS Description These anchors are a non bottom bearing, wedge style expansion anchor used in solid concrete or grout filled concrete masonry. A one piece clip ensures uniform holding capacity that increased as tension is applied. The threaded stud version is available from 6 mm diameter onwards and in multiple lengths. The threaded stud is set by tightening the nut. These anchors are available in carbon steel and stainless steel. The anchor gives maximum load bearing capacity in non cracked concrete c20/25 to c50/60 and natural stone with dense structure. The anchor is easy to install, only a few blows of hammer and a small displacement of the anchor while tightening conveys a sense of reliability while setting the anchor. The anchor consists of two pieces preassembled into a single unit. The stud is threaded a portion of its length. The extreme end of the threaded portion is rounded to protect the threads from damage while the anchor is being driven into the hole drilled in the concrete. The other end of the rod has a necked down diameter, which runs for a short distance, at the end of which tapers outwardly to the full diameter of the rod. A precision formed universal clip made of carbon steel is permanently assembled around the necked down diameter to complete the anchor.

To affix any screw in a wall a plug is required to give a firm grip. Thus when screws are drilled in a wall a plug is accompanied with the screw. When a screw is to be drilled in a dry wall or a brick or concrete wall a nylon plug is used whereas in any wet area a PVC or plastic plug is used. A nylon plug is generally flute shaped where as PVC one is bugle or trumpet shaped. They are available in length from 25 mm up to 50 mm and in diameter from 4.2 mm upto 5.5 mm.After the hole is drilled in any wall the plug is inserted and then the screw is pierced. This gives a very firm grip and the same cannot be loosened or removed easily.

Aluminium/Steel Blind Rivets (POP Rivets) as per DIN 7337 Description The blind rivet body is inserted in a hole in the materials to be joined. The tool is actuated and the jaws of the power operated or manual blind rivet tool, grip the mandrel head into the rivet body, expanding it, and forming a strong, tight, reliable joint. At a predetermined setting force, the mandrel breaks and falls away.

Self Tapping Screws / Sheet Metal / Full Threaded Screws These are also called Sheet Metal screws or full threaded screws. As the name suggests these are screws which are fully threaded to give a firm grip in any fixture. They are zinc plated and also available in stainless steel. They are used in furniture and also in sheet metal work and any metal to metal affixation. They are generally available in multiples of 1000 nos depending upon the size. They are available in diameter ranging from 3 mm up to 6 mm and in length varying from 4.5 mm up to 100 mm. For furniture work we require self tapping screws in Counter sunk head (CSK) and for aluminum window work or any metal to metal affixation we require Pan head screws. The head is punched in Slotted head or Phillips head. These screws cannot self drill but are to be tapered in any material until it is tightened. These screws are used for quick, easy and cost effective work. These screws have fine threading for giving a firm grip.

Roofing Nails These are nails mainly used in plumbing fixations. They are of thick size in 4 gauge (6mm) and are available in length from 40mm up to 150 mm. They are mainly used to affix rain water or drainage pipes on the exterior portion of any construction. They are also used in fabrication work to fix safety doors or grills for any household purpose. They have a round head and a thick body with not a very sharp point as the whole nail has to be pierced in concrete or a brick wall. These nails are having a galvanized finish and are also called roofing nails or Galvanized Iron (GI) nails and are available in loose or in packets of 2.5 kg each.

Nylon Frame Fixing Anchors with Wings Description This anchor consists of a screw with pozi head and a nylon wall plug attached with the screw which enables it for a quick and simple push through installation. The integral hammer in stop prevents the frame fixing anchor from jamming prematurely during installation. When the nail is driven in any wooden or metal structure the fixing is expanded and it is held by friction in the drill hole.

They are to be riveted and cannot be drilled or tapered in any affixation.

Furniture Nails As the name suggests these are nails used generally for wood work, assembling or making furniture, wooden boxes, pallets etc. Anything to fasten wood, these nails are required. These nails are generally smaller in size as compared to common nails. They are available in packing of 400 gms, 2 kg and 2.5 kg. The sizes available are from 10 mm to 65 mm in thickness varying from 2.6 mm to 1.01 mm Nails are available in size 50 mm (L) x 12 g (Gauge) and 65 x 11 are mainly used in wooden box industry. The other sizes in sizes from 25mm (Length) to 45 mm in 14 g (Thickness) are used by carpenters to make furniture.Furniture nails also constitute mainly of Panel Pins which are available from 10 mm to 40 mm in 17 g or 19 g. They are mainly used by carpenters to make furniture or pressing of ply or decorative veneers etc.Nails available in 20 g are mainly used by photo frame makers. Furniture nails are having Diamond point or long point and having a centred head though mostly they are headless and are having a good electro galvanised polish.

‘U’ Staple / Fencing Nails As the name suggests these are nails used mainly for fencing purposes in which chain links are mounted on angles or a net is to be covered on an angle frame or barbed wire on a cement pole. So these nails are used to fasten the wire or chain to the angle or pole. The main size available or used extensively is 40 mm (Length) x 10 g (Thickness) though other sizes available are 20 x 4, 25 x 12 and 30 x 10. They are ‘U’ shaped having a point on one end of the U and are galvanized finish and available in packing of 2.5 kg.

Chipboard Screws These are also screws in full threaded but have coarse threading. The head is counter sunk (CSK) and are always recessed. But chipboard screws have a pozi head as they are used to affix in any furniture through pozi drives. These screws are brightly zinc plated and are generally used to affix furniture made of particle or chip board. They are also used in the packaging industry to fasten wooden boxes or pallets. They are available in diameter of 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6 mm and length up to 100 mm. These screws have a curved taper allowing them to self pilot and install rapidly without punching through the paper. They are hardened and have a sharp piercing point.

Chemical Anchors Resin Capsules with Stud, Nut and Washer Description Chemical or resin anchors are generic terms relating to steel studs, bolts and anchorages which are bonded into a substrate, usually masonry and concrete, using a resin based adhesive system. Ideally suited for high load applications, in virtually all cases the resulting bond is stronger than the base material itself and as the system is based on chemical adhesion, no load stress is imparted to the base material as with expansion type anchors and are therefore ideal for close to edge fixing, reduced centre and group anchoring and use in concrete of unknown quality or low compressive strength. Although there are many differing variations and delivery systems in the market, all systems operate using the same basic principle with the base resin, requiring the introduction, by mixing, of a second component to begin the chemical curing process, hence the term chemical anchor.

The shield has four equally spaced slots for a portion of its length. The bottom part of the shield is knurled. The shield has a smooth flangeless top that allows it to install either through flush or countersunk. The bottom lip of the shield is tapered to allow maximum depth wherever it needs to be installed. Animal Shoe Nails – Horse Shoe Nails / Bullock Shoe Nails As the name suggests these nails are used to fix on the sole of a bullock or a horse.
