The Tube Expansion Machine is used to expand the ends the tubes of the assembled heater cores.The core is pneumatically clamped rigidly in a pair of product plates at the centre of the machine. After clamping the product, expansion is achieved by means of expansion units that are located and clamped on the hydraulic slides. Final desired form of the tube is achieved after this operation.
