Indigo Paints Zinc Chromate Primer is an alkyd based metal primer intended for maintenance applications. It consists of rust inhibitive pigments which protect the metal surface from rust. Surface Preparation & Application: Stir contents thoroughly. Clean the surface to be painted by removing all loose particles,grease, dirt, rust etc. Apply Indigo Zinc Chromate Primer using brush or spray after thinning 15-20% with turpentine. Saturate the surface with clean water several times, and allow excess water to disappear. Mix equal parts by volume of cement paint and water, and apply first coat with long hair brush. Do water-curing after 6-8 hours. Apply second coat 24 hours after application of first coat, and again cure with water after 6 hours. Two coats of Floracem are sufficient for most surfaces. Do not use saline water for mixing or for curing. No waterproofing compounds should be used either as a base coat, additive or top coat. Do not intermix different shades of Floracem. Restrict the use of blue, pink and green shades to interiors as they are liable to fleet on exterior applications. Avoid use of dark shades over large unrelieved areas.

Indigo Stain Block Primer is a water based primer suitable for use on interior / exterior walls and ceilings. It is specially formulated to prevent the migration of stains through the finished paint film. It can easily hide the stains caused by water and solvent based inks, crayons, ball-point pens, coffee, grease, spices and cooking oils, water, and smoke damage.
