ATFD is a modernized apparatus used for continuous processing of concentrated materials into dry solids. It consists of a shell with heatingjacket and a rotor centrally placed inside the shell equipped with rows and pendulum blades of length of the dryer.The wet feed is evenly distributed over the heated walls with the help of hinged blades of the rotor. The high turbulence evaporates the water/solvent only to convert the liquid into a slurry form, a cake, dry powder/ flex.The vapour rises upwards and collected as a condensate in a condenser.
