Medium duty rectangular shape magnetic base with powerful magnetic pull and a quick release lever with ‘V ‘ shape at the bottom facilitate easy mounting on a machine tool or work surface. Exclusive fingertip release tilts unit away from work for easy removal   SRD – 98 Similar to SRD – 97 but having Fine Adjustment to facilitate rapid setting of indicator dials at a desired position. SPECIAL BALL JOINT BASES:  SRD – 97 B & SRD – 98 B  Dimensions are same as SRD – 97 and SRD – 98. But the pillar is provided with Bolt and Socket Joint Action. Supplied with two rods, one to hold standard dial gauges and dial test indicators 1 / 4 “ in diameter and other multi step rod 1 / 4 “ dia with 5 / 6: O.D. at one end and 7 / 32 “ O.D. at the other end for use with standard machine shop clamps.
