These blocks are designed to hold the steel components in desired fixed position during welding marking grinding etc. These are extremely useful in Tool - Room in the assembling of jigs and fixtures and are also utilized with Sine table for inspection of components. They are also used a magnetic parallels as the pair are matched with +/- 5 micron. In bigger sizes an ON - OFF switch is also provided.

MagTech Magnetic ‘V’ block’ is basically a clamping device. Hence, it is used in Standard Room Tool Room and Shop Floor also for Drilling, Grinding Light Milling operations. The 'V’ Block has a total three magnetic surfaces. Top, bottom with 90 degree angle and end surface opposite from switch. Magnetic surfaces are activated by mechanical ON-OFF switch. All three magnetic surfaces and the two sides are carefully ground. The main ‘V’ angle and bottom surface are provided with hardened steel plates, that ensures extra wear resistance. The accuracy of flatness and parallelism and squareness is within 5 microns for 4” & 6”; as well as 10 microns for 8” ‘V’ blocks. Our Magnetic 'V’ Blocks have high magnetic pull, hence they can be used for drilling and grinding (both wet and dry) and even for light milling work. When turned "ON" all three magnetic surfaces are activated simultaneously. The permanent magnet holds the work firmly in the 'V’ and if the block rests on a magnetically conductive surface, it is held firmly to this surface. The magnetic pull is constant and will not decrease even after long use. The magnetic system being shielded from penetration of moisture, cannot be damaged by coolants or other fluids.
