The growing popularity of flip-top caps means that precise cap-to-container alignment is an absolute necessity. Unlike neck orientation features offered on other linear and rotative stretch blow moulding machines, which require the use of special preforms that feature one or two notches on the neck ring, Magplastic offers a solution that works with nearly all the preforms that are available on the market. This neck orientation option can be combined with the preferential heating option, offering the possibility of blowing a wider range of bottle shapes.

This new equipment allows you to load preforms that have minimal, or even no neck ring — or preforms with a body diameter greater than that of the neck ring. This additional option gives you greater flexibility, not only in final container designs such as elegant wine bottles, but also for new preform shapes. LBM serie (Linear Blow Moulder):Magplastic’ LBM machines are combining the simplicity of linear machines (indexed – stationary mould clamping) with the production consistency of rotary machines (continuous preform heating). They are the ideal solutions for medium output production needs. The LBM blow moulders cover the medium output segment up to 12’000 bph and size from 0.2 L to 3 L ). They offer ease of operation and outstanding production efficiency. The advanced servo-motor technology (preform transfer system – preform stretching – press clamping) contributes to significant power savings and low operating & maintenance costs. The LBM machines are cost effective solutions for the production of bi-oriented PET containers for a wide choice of beverages (bottled water, CSD, juice, dairy, beer ….) and food products (edible oil, vinegar, sauces …)

Designed for the production of standard and complex shaped PET containers, the SSB machines can handle packaging volumes from 40ml to 5L with output up to 6400 bph. Using linear 2 stage process, the SSB machines show outstanding production flexibility, quick change-over and incredible versatility. To cope with specific production needs, the SSB machines can easily be adapted with the numerous options available: f.e. preferential heating (oval or flat bottles), neck orientation (for personal care), heat-set (for hot fill used for fruit juice, RTD teas), wide-mouth (for jars used for food & non-food products), preform loading devices (to handle preform with minimum neck ring, preform with body larger than the neck ideal for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or spirits wines containers )

The SLC models have been specifically developed for the production of large capacity single use or refillable PET containers – ranging from 11L to 26.5L (3 to 7 gallons) for nominal output up to 800 containers hour. Their sophisticated heating section with its multi-phase thermal preform conditioning and close-loop temperature control ensures a uniform, consistent temperature profile. Its advanced servo-motor technology (preform transfer system – electric stretch speed control – press clamping) guarantees excellent hygienic conditions and a highly accurate, repeatable blow moulding process. Available in 1 or 2 cavity configuration, the SLC are the solution to substitute the Polycarbonate (PC) container.
