The fabric used to make this dress has been sourced directly and responsibly from Gujarat, India. Here, artisans have been practicing the art of hand block printing for decades and no machinery is used in the process from start to finish.

This cropped jacket is crafted from a handwoven Rabari or nomadic shawl. This shawl takes approximately 3 days to weave from a wool blend. After being woven, it is then beautifully hand embroidered by women of the tribe. This intricate embroidery is done using threads and tiny mirrors with the help of needles and tweezers. The jacket has a round neck with embroidery on the shoulders in the front, the sleeves and in the center of the back. The entire jacket is made from a single shawl and the sleeves are finished with tiny handmade pom-poms. It is open in the front and does not have a lining.

The boho inspired sleeveless dress has a V neck and draw strings at the sides of the waist to adjust the fit. It has tie-dye patterns and an ombre effect with the upper half in light blue and the hem in shades of indigo. This dress is 35" long. Please note - since this item is hand tie-dyed the dye effects and patterns will vary slightly with each dress.
